Guest blog post and giveaway

One of the best pieces of writing advice I’ve read was from Stephen King. In his memoir On Writing he states that you need to ‘Write with the door closed, rewrite with the door open.’ What he means by this is that you first write for yourself. You write the sort of stories you want to read, the stories that only you can tell. When you’re first writing you shouldn’t be thinking about the reader or the publication process. Instead you just need to let the story tell itself.'
